had a great grandson called Wu Hui. Wu Huis son was Lu Zhong, and Lu Zhongs third son was
Jian. Jian was awarded the land of Da Ze (Xu Zhou in Jiang Su), and was known as Peng Jian.
Peng Jian held a record of long life. According to the legend, Peng prepared a bowl of chicken
soup for God. God was very pleased and gave him long life. Peng lived through
Xia and Shang Dynasties
for more than 800 years. He outlived 49 wives and 54 of his sons. He was known as Peng Zu,
the forefather of the Peng family.
