I'd like to try to make this myself for parties.
I am not sure of the spelling but the server called it something like
tah nah' gah --
it had a flakey pastry crust base, with alternating rows of whipped cream? and vanilla pudding?, covered on the top a waffle-like browned light pastry which almost looked like pretzels. While I thought it looked like it might taste rich, it in fact was not. The taste was light and delicious.
