REPLY: It is very difficult to control wok cooking on electric range as coils do not cool down quickly & food keeps on cooking (unlike gas).
If your wok has a flat bottom & can sit directly upon heat source & you remove wok upon reaching desired stir-fry tenderness - it might work out.
Don't know how it would work if your wok needs the cooking ring...
