A native of Han Dan of the Wei Kingdom, during the Three Kingdom Dynasty. According to the legend, Wang feasted on lead and sulfur (note: both are poisonous and should never be attempted). One day while hiking up the Tai Hang Mountain, an earthquake happened and the cliff in front of Wang split open. Some greenish earth oozed out from the crack and solidified into a rock. Wang put it in his mouth and it tasted like rice. Wang was known to achieve long life by eating this 'rock essence'.
