So far, there are fours topics in this series, 1) Lame
Knights, 2) Side-Cannon Screen, 3) Lee Cannon, and 4) Adverse Cannon, (each
topic in a separate CD). Each CD is a teaching tool, a playing mate and
a dictionary. From the tree-diagrams, one can study in detail, the various
responses of the topic at hand. With the play engine, one can practice
his skills against the computer. Last but not least, lectures on these
topics given by Chinese Chess Champion Wu GuiLin can help you improve your
skills quickly. (Windows 95 or higher, Pentium-100 CPU, 16 MB RAM, 4X CD,
256 Color, Mouse, Sound Card, and Speaker. ) The program has Chinese interface, but it functions
well with Microsoft Windows 95 and up, showing nice Chinese chraracters
of the game pieces on the board. If you like to read more Chinese off the
board, you can download a Chinese character software from http://www.njstar.com
but it's not absolutely required.
