This is probably is the strongest Chinese Chess software
available on the market. Game Playing Mode- Play against 25 characters
ranging from 9 kyu to 1 dan. Each player has a different playing style.
One can practice against special openings, or set up different positions
to play against the 25 characters. Certify Your Strength- The program ranks
your strength. If you mail in your record, you can receive an official
rank certificate (of up to 2 dan) from the Taiwanese Chinese Chess Association.
With Game Recording, Replay and Printing capability. (Windows 95 or higher,
486-66 CPU, 8 MB RAM, 2X CD, 256 Color, Mouse, Sound Card, and Speaker.)
The program has Chinese interface, but it functions
well with Microsoft Windows 95 and up, showing nice Chinese chraracters
of the game pieces on the board. If you like to read more Chinese off the
board, you can download a Chinese character software from http://www.njstar.com
but it's not absolutely required.
